Worked within the Worley Electrical Engineering Team supporting design of a new Oil and Gas Stabilization Facility. Introduction to the collaboration and interdisciplinary dynamics between engineers while working on a large-scale project.Key Responsibilities● Studied Process Flow, P&ID, and FEED Documents to understand the scope of the project● Completed UPS and battery sizing and fault level calculations.● Completed a block diagram, cable sizing calculations and material procurement for a large gas heater● Conducted a study of protection schemes for large induction motors and ONAN transformers and put together a comprehensive protection scheme● Group project with other interns analysing Worley’s capability to complete Development Consent Orders (DCOs – Planning permission for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects) and presented findings to management
