Joined an ailing made-in-China watch company and worked with the founders to transform it into a luxury watch brand where every element was hand-made in Italy and the movements were 100% Swiss Valjoux or ETA. In a very old and unchanging industry we managed to make some very strong headway. We grew rapidly through the 2008 economic crash by strategically buying watch-movements from brands like Omega and Breitling who suddenly had dead-markets. It took 7 years to open 20 U-BOAT flagship stores and thousands of stockists in every major market around the world. We built an international team with a high-level of automation in order to do more and do it faster despite our starter-disadvantage in such an old industry.Subsequently operating the UK market, successfully negotiated with Harrods, Selfridges and Watches of Switzerland among many other regional watch and jewellery stores. Developed a CRM so that I could build and maintain genuine relationships with hundreds of members of staff across the country and never forget a detail.Earned a Hot 100 Award in the Luxury Industry
