MTN's vision is to lead the delivery of a bold, new digital world to its customers. In this role, my mission was to lead the Digital team to bring customers digital contents and services (video/TV, music, games, lifestyle apps, VAS...) they love in their smartphones everywhere they go, in the most convenient way and at the right price.--- My Key Activities ---• Accountable for the Digital Business Unit performance: Revenues, Monthly Active Users and Team development.• Build the strategy of the digital business unit and ensure excellent execution.• Manage and grow the portfolio of consumer digital services: roadmap and lifecycle, product management, value proposition & pricing, User Experience design and go to market.• Performance Management: define business/product metrics and dashboard to track performance and adjust the execution plan.• Orchestrate collaboration with Technology, Brand & Communications, Public Relations, Legal & Regulatory, and Customer Service teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.• Responsible for Digital team leadership, mentoring, development, alignment and focus on what matters.--- Key Results ---• 2019 yearly targets (revenues and active users) achieved in 9 months (January - September). • +180% YoY growth of monthly digital revenues (Jan 2019 - Jan 2020).• +600% YoY growth of monthly active users of digital services (Jan 2019 - Jan 2020).• First to launch the Ayoba app in MTN Group (May 2019): MTN flagship product for instant communication services with in-app Mobile Money transactions.• Winner of the best app of the year 2019 in Cameroon with Yabadoo, our mobile TV & VOD app.
