Direct and manage the creative department, from scheduling of all projects to assigning projects to appropriate designers. • Responsible for personal design assignments, from ideation sketches through models. • Directly manage up to four designers; current staff is two. • Source and quote materials (printed materials, vacuum formed plastics and acrylics, etc.) From outside vendors and make recommendations. • Accompany sales staff on sales calls and relay meeting information backs to the creative department so as to give direction on the project. • Present concepts to clients; and is often asked to draw for the client as they are discussing changes or new ideas. • Clients include: Mead, Wagner, Target, Best Buy, Pet Smart, Petco, Cadbury Schweppes (7up, Dr. Pepper), Frito-Lay, Hershey, ConAgra and Master Foods (M&Ms, Snickers),Emerald Nut, USA Today, Menards, Kroger, Malt-O-Meal, Wal-Mart, Dannon.
