Operations Manager
CurrentI joined the AIS team as a Graphic Design Intern in May of 2009. My role quickly expanded to include web design and video editing. After my internship was completed I took on a part-time role which grew into a full-time position. As time moved forward my role became more focused on blogging, social media, inbound marketing, analytics, and event planning. I eventually was promoted to a managerial level, where I now reside as the Marketing Manager. My current responsibilities are a mix of marketing and design and include, but are not limited to, the following:• Developing and implementing marketing strategies in collaboration with the President of AIS.• Creating and executing campaigns for products and services. These campaigns may include telemarketing, email marketing, web design, lead management, management of vendor relationships, and other marketing activities.• Creating marketing campaigns in promotion of events, workshops, and webinars.• Event planning. Working in close liaison with venues, vendors, and companies that host trade shows and conventions. Securing certain sponsorship levels and exhibition space with appropriate amenities.• Project and task management using cloud-based web tools such as Trello and Microsoft SharePoint.• Inbound Marketing. Creating and refining compelling educational web content to be found organically through Google or with highly targeted online advertising.• CRM Maintenance. Lead import, drip marketing, and automated nurture campaigns in Dynamics CRM.• Monitor, manage, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing employees who are participating in campaigns.
