My entrepreneurial journey began a little over 10 years ago when I took the leap out of running other people’s kitchens and started a restaurant of my own. Within a year and a half the success of one became two and I was running around with my head on fire. In my attempt to get a handle on the chaos I tried everything--made a lot of good decisions and made even more bad ones. I was surviving on the fumes of passion for food and hospitality and when those evaporated I was left burned out and bitter. Ultimately, I ended up selling Gan Shan Station (the larger restaurant) at the beginning of 2020. Then COVID hit and it re-ignited my passion as I was faced with a whole new set of challenges to keep Gan Shan West alive. The creativity and focus paid off as I grew that business over 80% in three years. Still, the same issues that originally lead to burn out began cropping up again. I ended up with a successful sale to a great operator who I knew would carry on the legacy and tradition I built with Gan Shan and transitioned into Real Estate and consulting.While working with one of these companies I was introduced to the EOS model and participated in the powerful shift that it made within that company. Using these tools first hand, I saw first hand how they can be transformative within any business. Possessing these tools and framework would have changed my business and I set out to deeply learn these tools with the intention of helping other business owners not make the same mistakes that I made. I am now helping business owners get everything they want out of their businesses through the power of the EOS model and couldn't be more fulfilled.
