I have undertaken several executive director roles, either as Executive Chairman or Chief Executive Officer to strategically reposition predominately resource companies to allow them to address immediate critical issues and their recapitalisation for long term improved performance.Significant experience as a professional independent non-executive director and Chief Executive Officer of significant listed and unlisted companies, across a wide range of industries including; mining (gold, copper, lead, zinc, tin and coal), oil & gas exploration, biotechnology and Government utilities.Have held several senior non-executive director roles, including being Chairman of an ASX200 base metal producer and Western Australia’s largest Government owned trading enterprise.As Chairman or Lead Non-Executive Director have dealt with a broad range of issues facing ASX listed companies.As Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director have over 15 years’ experience responsible for the greenfield development of a gold mining company into New Zealand’s largest gold producer, from start-up to producing 140,000 ounces per annum with one million ounces produced, and developing two successful boutique corporate advisory businesses assisting clients with targeted acquisitions and capital raisings.
