Water and tissue metal concentrations were measured using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, and then statistically analyzed to determine whether the two clades exhibited differing metal sensitivity when assessing mortality, bioaccumulation, and growth. Concluded that one clade was significantly more tolerant to metal toxicity when assessing mortality and bioaccumulation.
