At Hedge, I develop software to improve video workflows and pipelines for creators, video professionals, and film studios. Alongside my passion for coding, I lead a small team of web developers and database engineers.Our software is used by various companies and studios, such as Lucasfilm, Disney, Netflix, Paramount, Red Bull, Vice, and Spotify.

Back in the day, I started as an ActionScript developer, creating online experiences, promotional websites and games. When Steve Jobs announced the end of Flash, I switched to iOS and web development. I worked with early frameworks such as Ember, Angular, and Backbone before transitioning to React in 2016. I also started to work with Laravel around that time.While continue to work with React and Laravel daily, I keep an eye out for the latest developments in web development. I frequently explore and experiment with new frameworks and libraries like Svelte, Solid, Nextjs, and, of course, React Server Components.Over the years, I've been featured on DWDD and collaborated with my heroes like Opgezwolle, Kees de Koning, and Jiggy Dje. I received an Apple award for the 22tracks app and have worked with agencies and clients such as Verve, Momkai, WeTransfer, Blendle, De Correspondent, and Random Studios.It has been an amazing journey so far!

I co-founded Blokks with Niek Dekker to help festivals and conferences create digital versions of their timetables. In our team of two, I handled all technical aspects while Niek focused on branding and design.It was an incredibly thrilling time. We not only created a product that was used by many, but I also learned a great deal as the CTO and co-founder of our small, little startup during this period.Blokks was used by festivals such as The Next Web Conference, Brainwash Festival, Down the Rabbithole, ESNS, Into the Woods, Into The Great Wide Open, DekMantel and Tomorrowland.

Ambie.fm is a background music service created for public spaces. Working at Ambie was a turning point in my career as I transitioned from creating short-term promotional websites to developing, improving, and polishing products over time. After that, I started helping startups such as WeTransfer, De Correspondent, and Blendle bring their projects to life.

While working at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam, previously known as ACHTUNG!, I was an ActionScript Developer focusing on creating interactive experiences, websites, and games. During that time I worked for brands such as Volkswagen, Porsche, O'Neil, Bavaria, and Vodafone. My work has been recognized with the Cannes Lions, Esprix Awards, The FWA, and a Webby Award.
