As an IT Professional with nearly 25 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with numerous companies and individuals and have gathered a large amount of experience working with simple and complex networking and messaging environments. In my current role, I serve as a Senior Azure Engineer for an MSP based in Reading, PA. I work with a number of clients to meet all their cloud related needs. My primary functions are standing up new tenants, leading migrations from on-premise to Azure, securing clients existing subscriptions, merging tenant due to acquisitions, creating recovery vaults, setting Azure backup policies private endpoints, Front Door routing to app service plans, creating site to site VPN tunnels from Azure to on-premises, vnet peering, and the rest of Azure stack components. I am involved or leading several projects currently and am currently focusing on a IoT related project.I hold my AZ1-04, AZ-305, and AZ-700 certifications. Before my current role, I served as the Network Manager for a prominent engineering firm in Philadelphia, PA. My day to day roles, at the time, included, but were not limited to, overseeing the voice and data network of our 40 offices geographically dispersed across the United Stated. I led the migration of Skype for Business on Premise to Microsoft Teams. This project included setting up our SBC in Azure and then porting over 1000 number from our current SIP provider to our new one. I led the project to complete the redesign of our WAN environment as we transitioned to a new ISP. I also quarterbacked two data center migrations including the physical relocation and network redesign. I have led and participated in dozens of server upgrades, migrations, and replacements. I have led migrations and projects from the planning phases, implementation to full project closure of entire data centers, oversaw multiple circuit upgrades, implemented multiple remote access technologies (AOVPN, Direct Access, Traditional VPN, Terminal Services Gateway). I have led migrations from Novell messaging systems as well as upgraded every version of Exchange starting with Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2010 and led the migration to Office 365. I have worked with companies with employees in the thousands to companies with 250 users or less. I love technology and always looking for ways to implement bleeding edge technologies to help companies become more productive and serve their clients in the most effective manner.
