MyCujoo is the only playform in the world that democratises live streaming football. Serving millions of customers with live and on demand content and enabling hundreds of partners to live stream their matches every month. We run fully on the cloud and our event driven microservice oriented architecture are backed by Kafka and Kubernetes. My initial focus in this role was to define and implement an event driven architecture, creating independent, successful teams. In parallel I was focusing on increasing operational excellence in our teams. Further down the line I established our second development centre in Lisbon, organised MyCujoo's first developer conference and kept working on developing an engineering culture with and for our engineers. While working on this, there is a continuous challenge to manage budgets and expectations from CxO and board members.

For this position I was hired to build an agile team to develop and deliver one of their most prestigious Enterprise Services: Enterprise Search. From starting with 1 full stack developer, the team grew to be 8 developers, 2 product owner, a scrum master and 2 technology managers, both in the UK as well as India. In October this team delivered their first service, contributing to a major increased in customer experience and revenue per search query. The service delivered was based on both Open Source (Java, Vert.x) technology as well as cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).

In this role I am responsible (among other programs) for the following programs withing Amazon Instant Video:- Hardware capacity planning- Hardware acquisition management- Scaling

This startup focused on developing a technology product, in order to create a better customer experience in it's domain.

During the length of my contract i was responsible for technical project management of the development of the iPhone apps for the largest two titles of this Dutch publisher. In this role I also managed the Content Management System (Escenic) upgrade, as well as managing the data migration.
