CurrentI have worked in the Gordmans IT department for over 30 years. I am currently the Enterprise Storage Administrator.My current duties:• Managing our NetApp FAS8020s supporting mostly NFS and CIFS storage in a VMware environment since June 2014• Managing Veeam backup systems at the datacenter and our remote Distribution Center sites, providing backups and replication, installing, patching, and day to day operation support for those backup systems• Secondary on call support for UC4 our Enterprise schedulerMy past duties:• Managed 3 LPARs running z/OS 1.7 and 1.9 systems on a IBM Z9BC before the decommissioning in June 2014• Managed TSM for Windows server backups• Managed the PCI LPAR for our point of sale and credit authorization systems• Installed z/OS 1.9 from server PAC. Participated with CICS and IMS upgrades• Managed the COBOL to COBOL II upgrade• Managed the session manager and remote printing software on z/OS• Installed patches on z/OS • Supported all users for mainframe TSO, CICS, and printing needs• Assisted in the migration of our main retail software running on z/OS to a VMware Linux Oracle platform• In charge of the daily Change meetings for two years, worked with internal audit verifying that policies were followed• Managed the Enterprise scheduler and converted from BMC Control-M to UC4.
