Field storage and server engineer. 👨‍💻After enriching my knowledge by studying system analysis and computer techniques, I held various positions as field engineer at varying companies.In 1991, I continued my working experience at Apem where I had the opportunity to become a senior server engineer.In 2007, I was eager to pursue a new challenge and further develop my expertise as an IT professional at Econocom.In 2017, I started working for SIMAC ICT Belgium as customer storage engineer, focusing on installing and maintaining Hitachi storage boxes. In 2020, SIMAC provided the opportunity to work abroad in Luxembourg, which I was very happy to take on. 🌍During the last 30 years, I was able to work on different types of servers at larger companies, such as Infrabel, ArcelorMittal and Smals, all the while expanding my overall knowledge by taking on various (international) courses. During my senior years, part of my job responsibilities shifted to include being single point of contact for key clients of the company and providing remote and on-site solutions that are tailored to the client’s requirements.👀 I am currently looking for a new challenge to apply my expertise and knowledge in the field, while guiding new talent to develop their skills.📧 Do not hesitate to reach out.
