- Developed a Docker Desktop Extension from scratch to facilitate the debugging process in containerized development environments.- Implemented React Router with lazy routes to create a seamless and intuitive UI/UX without sacrificing page responsiveness rendering thousands of container logs.- Further reduced page latency by implementing debouncing on functions that take user input to prevent unnecessary updates to the UI by applying pre-built functions from the Lodash library.- Converted Docker Desktop's default multi-threaded Golang server into a single-threaded Node.js server to maintain single language consistency for readability, simplicity, and efficiency across a moderately sized codebase. - Employed Typescript to enforce strict typing of variables in order to ensure that responses were correctly formatted and to streamline the development process by catching errors at compile time rather than run time.- Incorporated Prometheus as a data aggregation tool leveraging its locally stored database with simple integration for both cAdvisor, which exposes metrics for running containers, and Grafana, which displays time series graphs.- Took advantage of Material UI’s pre-built components in compliance with Docker's Desktop Extension style guidelines, which allowed for better focus allocated to the functionality of the core product.- Established a CI pipeline using GitHub Actions to expedite the development process and improved Jest testing coverage by 40%.

- Engineered a responsive single-page application with React (utilizing both the virtual DOM and a unidirectional data flow) that allows users to search for and compare products across a range of web-based storefronts.- Configured a PostgreSQL database to store pertinent information, such as technical specifications and price, about each product and their relation to various storefronts with an emphasis on consistency (maintaining ACID compliance).- Adopted TailwindCSS’s in-line styling to minimize bloat and integrate with React’s modularized components.- Implemented Webpack to access built-in minification and uglification features to reduce bundle size and webpack development server’s hot module replacement.

- Released an updated version of Scrummy, a web application built to simplify the Agile/Scrum process.- Stored user data in a NoSQL database along with valuable information such as joined boards, owned boards, etc.- Added the ability to create users with proper authorization and authentication using Passport.js to differentiate board owners from board collaborators and allow users to associate with Scrummy boards outside of a local web environment.- Integrated WebSockets to open a persistent communication stream via the TCP connection using Socket.IO to allow for cross-platform collaboration between users across different devices.
