I act as Program Manager for a large American integrated Pharmaceutical company. This mandate includes the coordination of client and contractor resources at a number of sites worldwide; in many cases the work will be performed remotely.I prepare proposals, schedules, and budgets for projects of all sizes.I acted as Project Manager for the contractor component of a number of MES projects.

I was the line manager for 19 professionals; engineers, programmers and project managers. I worked on resource usage, match up of resources to assignments, follow up of business metrics, etc. I provided oversight of GAP’s computer infrastructure and IS personnel in collaboration with the CFO. I prepared proposals, schedules, and budgets for projects of all sizes.I was the project manager leading the recovery effort of a Process Data Warehouse project for a large American Biotech company. The project included integration of data historian (OSIsoft PI), LIMS (Thermo Electron SM/LIMS), and MES (Werum) data into a single user interface, production of batch release and periodic regulatory reports. I became responsible for overall project management, at the time I was promoted Director of Operations, after the project became severely over budget and behind schedule.

I was the technical leader for the identification of use cases related to the implementation of a specialized data warehouse to support electronic batch release, process performance monitoring and deviations analysis at an integrated Pharmaceutical company's biotech facility.I was part of a team performing a comparison test of software packages for the DHS (Data Historian System) component of a Large French integrated Phamaceutical's data integration project.I was part the technical leader for the preparation of a Strategic Automation Plan for a large American Biotech to cover a 3-5 year time span. I identified business drivers and manufacturing automation goals. I presentated a number of significant recommendations, and a preliminary schedule and budget to implement the Strategic Automation Plan.I was the technical leader for an implementation of an Aegis Discoverant installation for a large American integrated Phamaceutical. As part of this project I spent 12 months in New Jersey.I was the PI and Discoverant Subject Matter Expert (SME) at a large American integrated Pharmaceutical. I provided internal consulting on solutions and for the setup and installation of a proof-of-concept laboratory. I was the technical leader for requirements for a custom tool to migrate data between an in-house data historian and OSIsoft PI. I was the technical leader for a validation document package for rolling out OSIsoft PI. As part of this mandate I spent 6 months in Indianapolis.I was a member of the core team assessing manufacturing facilities of a large American integrated Phamaceutical. The team was responsible for the identification and remediation of issues affecting manufacturing systems across all manufacturing sites and distributions centers in anticipation of a SAP roll out. I surveyed plants in Mexico, Puerto-Rico, the USA, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, and Japan.

I was an analyst and project manager for the complete software life cycle of a robotized palletization system installed at Kraft's (Montreal, QC) facility.I worked on the analysis of the remediation of an interface between PLC and a Kraft developed key performance indicator (OEE) package. I worked on the development of test plans and test protocols and on the management of the execution of those tests with the aim of certifying Kraft’s key performance indicator package for corporate-wide use.

I was the technical leader for the user requirements and design phases of a key performance indicator application for an AlliedSignal (now Honeywell, Baton Rouge, LA) refrigerant plant. As part of this project I spent 3 months in Baton Rouge, LA.I was the technical leader and eventually became the project manager for the Y2K remediation efforts for AlliedSignal's (now Honeywell) Electronic Materials business unit. I also worked as a corporate Y2K auditor and was a member of the corporate Y2K command center. This was a 26 month mandate requiring 90%+ travel and interfacing with plants worldwide.I was a team member for the requirements, analysis, design review, testing and startup of a corporate-wide key performance indicator application, based on Aspentech's InfoPlus.21 process information management package, for Lafarge NA cement plants. As part of this project I visited most of Lafarge's NA cement plants over a period of 9 months.

I was the technical leader for the design phase of a custom key performance indicator system for the Poudres Metalliques du Québec (Tracy, QC) metal powder facility.

I was a team member for the design, implementation, integration testing, and roll out of a custom water sampling system at the Montreal Urban Community (Montreal, QC) water treatment facility.I was the project manager of an operator training simulator, based on SACDA’s technology, for the Ohmeda (Guayama. Puerto Rico) Anesthetic facility . As part of this project I spent 2 months in PR.I was a team member for the design, implementation, integration testing, IQ and OQ of a process information management system, based on WAI’s WalshCIM Data Historian, for the Delta Biotechnology Ltd. (Nottingham, UK) Recombinant Human Albumen facility . The system included advanced and batch controls. As part of this project I spent 13 months in the UK.I was the project manager and technical leader for the complete software life cycle of a key performance indicator system, based on WAI’s WalshCIM Data Historian, for the Altos Hornos de Mexico S.A. (Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico) iron ore induration furnaces .I was the project manager and technical leader for the user requirements and design phases of the Syprotec Inc. (now GE Harris) networkable power transformer management system.

I developed an operator training simulator for Daishowa's (Quebec City, QC) Chemical Thermo-Mechanical Pulping plant, encompassing the refiners and heat recovery unit.I developed an operator training simulator for Husky Oil's (Lloydminster, SK) Heavy Crude distillation unit, encompassing the vacuum and heavy oil columns, the unit’s advanced process control strategies and an implementation of the American Petroleum Institute correlations.

The 10e Escadron de Génie de Campagne (now the 35e Régiment du Génie de Combat) is a reserve combat engineer unit that dates back to 1916.I joined in February 1977 and received basic training and TQ1 Sapper training that same year. I received TQ2 Sapper training and was promoted corporal in 1978. In 1979 I received my MCpl leadership course, classroom instructor course, and served as an instructor on both a basic training and a TQ1 Sapper course.In early 1980 I received my Sgt leadership course and translated the TQ3 Sapper course from English to French.
