Designed and developed applications and solutions in Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript independently and as part of development team.

Collaborated with team on product and part tracking system used internally at Webster, NY design and manufacturing facilities. Developed Visual Basic nested “exploding BOM” (bill of materials) GUI used by engineers to build and track all parts used in printers and other devices.

Maintained a network of over 90 PCs and five servers in a mixed environment of Microsoft and Novell, supporting Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, and 2000. Provided primary support of Microsoft and Sybase SQL servers and databases. Designed and developed “BoxTrack” system to track over 100,000 boxes of medical records at multiple document scanning and storage facilities in Microsoft Access and Visual Basic with SQL Server back-end. Developed wireless Windows CE barcode scanner application to simply track movement of boxes to pallets and pallets to locations with a self-correcting system of unique barcodes. Developed “RetrievalNet” system to provide web-based access to medical record retrieval requests. Integrated RetrievalNet and BoxTrack to allow 5-minute delivery of FAXed or scanned medical documents to support emergency staff at multiple medical facilities throughout the US.

Continued development and maintenance of weekly activity reporting system developed in Lotus 123 and Alpha 4. Communicated with upper management to find ways to improve system for new fiscal year. Coordinated testing and support across 90+ nationwide branches. Developed form-letter creation applications in C and SQR with Oracle back-end with automated high-speed / high-volume printing.
