Island Kitchen first opened in 2012 on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts as a 30 seat breakfast and lunch diner. It was a place where people could come together and share fresh, simple, and good food in the pursuit of sparking conversation, fostering connection, and building community. Since 2012, we have expanded the restaurant space to include two exterior dining patios, a patio bar, and an ice cream parlor next door.In 2015, we began operating our catering company, executing everything from an intimate dinner party to cocktail parties for 1,500 guests. Our fleet of fully-functional mobile catering kitchens boast top-of-the-line cooking, refrigeration, and sanitation equipment. We bring a high-quality product directly to you—without entering your kitchen—and you never have to compromise on convenience, freshness, or service.In 2018 our catering company expanded into the in-flight dining space, providing meals for crew members and passengers utilizing private travel out of the Nantucket airport. We quickly expanded our inflight teams and now operate kitchens three kitchens in Naples, Palm Beach, and Miami, Florida, partnering with premier organizations like NetJets and FlexJet.We are always looking to partner with new vendors and those looking to elevate their menus at 40,000 sq ft.
