When I was a little kid, I wanted to be an Inventor. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that it is not generally considered a real profession... Anyway, I got as close as possible: I became an Electrical Engineer, a software programmer, and lately an entrepreneur. I was finally able to satisfy my dream: to invent things. I love technology and I'm lucky enough to be able to practice my passions as a profession. Recently I had the chance to join ABB as Senior embedded engineer in charge of developing the digital control platform (HW/SW) for the next generation UPSs products. After one year, I've been promoted to Team Leader of the EE office. As entrepreneur, I'm leading hardware and software development at Swissponic, an innovative start-up active in Urban Farming with the goal to improve people's lives by empowering them to grow their own organic vegetables at home (indoor).Since 2013 I'm also following the evolution of blockchain tech and recently co-founded a company providing infrastructure services for DLT projects and currently serving as vice-chairman of the board and technical advisor.As a system-wide developer, I like to use my wide expertise in both hardware and software to find creative solutions to customers problems. I focus on details without getting lost in them and combine skills and know-how from different fields to develop original solutions. Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, I have worked in several notable establishments over the last 25+ years, serving as a project manager, technical managing director, entrepreneur, CEO, CTO and co-founder of three company.
