Serving as Technology Facilitator at the James E. Richmond Science Center (Charles County Public Schools, Waldorf, MD). As Technology Facilitator, I create data visualizations and other imagery/animations, as well as engaging field trip experiences for our NOAA Science On a Sphere. We are one of only three public schools in the world with a Science On a Sphere and the only one with both a Science On a Sphere and a 60-foot digital dome theater and planetarium. Previously I served as an education and outreach specialist for the EarthNow project at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. EarthNow allows NOAA Science On a Sphere (SOS) exhibit institutions to go beyond the scientific facts to create meaningful visitor experiences about weather and climate connections. I have also worked as SphereMaster and Museum Education at Nauticus, a maritime science and history museum in Norfolk, Virginia.
