Patrick Schultz leads the Wealth Planning Team for Clark Capital Management. The WealthPlanning Team is responsible for estate and wealth planning, thought leadership, and strategic planningfor individual clients. This team of former practicing lawyers works with clients and their tax and legaladvisors to provide client-facing expertise in estate and tax planning strategies, retirement planning,restricted and control stock, stock option management, business succession planning, pre- and post-transactional planning, concentrated position management, and other personal planning strategies. Theteam provides internal training to the independent financial advisors that Clark Capital Managementworks with and also creates educational content for distribution to the public.Prior to joining Clark Capital Management, Patrick led the Central Division of J.P. Morgan WealthManagement's Wealth Planning and Advice team. In this role, Patrick and his team who worked withFinancial Advisors to provide their clients with a holistic wealth management experience. Patrick workeddirectly with clients to help them understand, coordinate and improve their estate plans and wealthtransfer vehicles. This process involved evaluating a client's estate planning documents to see how theirdocuments fit into the big picture of multi-generational wealth transfer, charitable planning, tax planning and business succession planning. Prior to his role with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Patrick was a Senior Wealth Strategist in the Bay Area with Charles Schwab's ultra-high-net-worth offering, the Chairman's Circle, and prior to his role at Charles Schwab, Patrick was a partner at a mid-sized law firm in the Midwest where he represented high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with their multi-generational wealth planning needs.
