Collaborating with others and solving dynamic issues make me excited for each new day.At an early age, I was exposed to both (albeit in differing levels of intensity). Whether it be in traveling annually to Poland to see my grandparents and haggle in the markets, or locally doing bake sales in my community to earn a few extra dollars for the summer, I loved the uniqueness in each encounter. Since my childhood and in my professional career, I've pursued opportunities that gave me that excitement.In high school, while excelling at daily coursework, I dedicated endless hours to more dynamic passions: Lincoln Douglass style debate, the school newspaper (specifically OpEd), and competitive golf. Afterwards, I uprooted my life to move to the East Coast to attend the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania), joining investment, cultural, and social clubs to complement my studies.Professionally, I still find excitement in a dynamic workplace that isn't formulaic or operated based on a "playbook". While at PwC for 5 years, I led or supported 40+ M&A transactions, each with a different investment thesis, transaction timeline, or sub-industry focus, and enjoyed the ability to quickly upskill on a company and understand the basis for investment or not (similar to my high school debate career). After yearning to see the full picture of a transaction (vs. a specific engagement scope), I moved to Private Equity to support both new deal diligence and value creation at companies we owned (~$50B AUM fund with ~20 Portfolio Companies).
