Identified intelligence gaps within the organizations security posture and seek out additional sources to help fill the gaps and prevent unnecessary harm to unit infrastructure.Research and study worldwide threat trends and TTPs in order to develop accurate and current threat assessments for units who stand ready to deploy to conduct Overseas Contingency Operations. I specialize in the collecting, analyzing, and evaluating credible threat data to prioritize information for unit leadership so that they are able to focus training on credible threat information.Worked closely with the unit operations officers to ensure that they have the most up to date threat doctrine and ensure that the training that they develop includes realistic threat scenarios. As a member of a multi-echelon Training Brigade I also mentored and coached teams of intelligence professionals for all over the Eastern United States. I work closely with intelligence teams from the Army Reserves and National Guard. I evaluate their team’s ability to gather, process, analyze, and disseminate intelligence information to their units Soldiers and leadership. Developed a personnel security briefing program for subordinate units to ensure that new Soldiers throughout the Brigade were briefed on personnel security application procedures. Ensured that applications for security clearances and access to special access programs are completed accurately and completely and are appropriate for the level of sensitivity required for the position. As the Information Security Manager I oversaw the overall safeguarding of each SCIF I was responsible for. Remained current and knowledgeable on all DoD regulations pertaining to information security. Ensured that every member who worked in each SCIF was trained on proper information security procedures and ensured that there were no security incidents within. As the Physical Security Manager I managed the security for a total of 8 arms rooms. Developed the overall physical security plan for the transport of all weapons and sensitive equipment for two deployments to Afghanistan along with the returning of all materials back to Fort Drum, New York. Established a relationship with local law enforcement and higher headquarters to develop a local threat assessment for the Brigade. Helped identify potential threats specifically against the Brigades personnel and equipment.

Served as the Senior All Source Intelligence Analyst for the 3rd Brigade Combat Team in Fort Drum, New York and deployed on two occasions with the organization to Afghanistan. From 2009 to 2010 as the senior intelligence analyst, I was in charge of over 50 intelligence professionals from several different intelligence functions ranging from HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, GEOINT and OSINT. Produced over 350 graphical intelligence summaries and over 100 white paper reports for operations being conducted in Eastern Afghanistan near Kabul from 2009 to 2010. Developed over 50 targeting briefings for the organizations leadership and operations officers ensuring that they possessed the most accurate and current information on hostile elements within the organizations areas of operations. Interpret data collected within and outside of the area of operations to identify changes in combatant TTPs and work closely with operations officers and organization commanders to ensure safeguards are in place to protect friendly forces personnel and equipment from evolving threats. Provided organizational leadership with updated intelligence on local Afghanistan political elements, providing up to date information to leaders to enhance their ability to develop relationships with local nationals.From 2011 to 2012 as the senior intelligence analyst, I supervised, trained, and mentored an 11 member intelligence team and was deployed to Overseas Contingency Operations in Southern Afghanistan near Kandahar. During this time was required to build an entire security program from the ground level as the unit I was assigned to was new to Hawaii and not yet established. Developed numerous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the new Brigade to ensure that all security concerns and procedures were streamlined and efficient. During this time I was deployed with the 5th Special Forces Group to Iraq. While in Iraq I managed 4 Tactical Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (TSCIFs).As a Personnel Security Manager I oversaw the application, submission, and determination processes for security clearances and employee suitability for over 2500 individuals. Developed a personnel security briefing program for 4 subordinate units to ensure that new Soldiers throughout the Brigade were briefed on personnel security application procedures. Trained each unit under the Brigade on the new personnel security procedures to include the newly developed EQIP process and assisted them in understanding the newly developed Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). As the Information Security Manager I oversaw the overall safeguarding of each TSCIF I was responsible for while in Iraq. Ensured that every member who worked in each TSCIF was trained on proper information security procedures and ensured that there were no security incidents within. Assessed critical documents that were produced in the Group’s Headquarters, ensuring they were properly classified prior to dissemination to coalition partner countries.

Served as the Senior All Source Intelligence Analyst for the 130th Engineer Brigade. In 2005 deployed with the 5th Special Forces Group to Iraq. As a member of the 130th Engineer Brigade, I researched, analyzed, correlated, and distributed intelligence information for the Asian/Pacific area of operations. Developed read books and briefings for organizational leadership and operations officers. Developed realistic scenarios for training audiences to ensure that operations officers had the most up to date insurgent TTPs in order to focus their training based on current threats.Adapt and tailor available intelligence sources to answer priority intelligence requirements and recommend updates and changes in response to always evolving intelligence picture. Analyze the commanders and operations officers’ guidance to meet the intent of the organizations mission. Produce intelligence products for the commander and operations officer in a timely and accurate fashion. Actively participate in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and develop accurate intelligence to the operations officer for the most effective training or mission operation.As a member of the 5th Special Forces Group in Iraq, acted as the units Intelligence Operations Officer and Collection Manager. Maintained the relationship between the operations officers of 3 Special Forces units and the Intelligence Fusion Center. Developed the collection plans for every unit mission conducted. Gave real time target area atmospherics to unit members on the ground through active reconnaissance. Worked closely with the unit’s operations officers and recommended real time changes to mission requirements as the situation developed on the ground. Screened all units’ operational summaries to identify possible intelligence information that could potentially answer the commander’s priority intelligence requirements, along with identifying answers to potential intelligence gaps.
