THA is a Marine Engineering Firm that designs seawalls, docks and marinas for single family, multi-family, municipal and private clubs. Project Manager and Engineer for numerous ongoing projects in design, permitting, engineering and construction phase.-Develop and issue bid documents and contracts for projects ranging from $40,000 to $3,000,000.-Conduct site assessments and author associated reports for marinas, piers, docks and seawalls.-Research and author Due Diligence Reports for long-term project planning. -Assist in business development and growth planning for long-term company goals.-Write proposals and track budgets for individual projects.

SRR is a nuclear waste treatment facility contracted with the DOE. Project Engineer as a design interface for waste removal projects in design, testing and implementation stages. -Developed/reviewed/approved designs, calculations and work procedures to meet project goals and ensure compliance with nuclear safety. -Assisted with procurement, testing, and implementation of custom centrifugal mixing pumps. -Authored Path Forward documents and coauthored a published report for Waste Mgmt Conf. 2015.-Planned and established facility long term operational needs for both equipment and funding.-Trained in Better Basic Safety, Intro to Six Sigma, OSHA regulations, PM programs, and CPR/First aid.

I lead design teams on sustainability projects; solar light bulb and irrigation pump project for Liberia, Africa. In May of 2012 I went to Liberia as part of a five man team to implement a few projects.

This was a 10-week internship where I was given weekly jobs of varying types; FME issue, reverse engineering project, worker safety project, OSHA issue, Part Specification project and many others. It was a great experience and I enjoyed my time there.
