After college I spent several years working in the back office on highly talented teams at elite organizations such as JP Morgan, PepsiCo and Goldman Sachs. Then in the summer 2022, I made the pivotal life decision to bet on myself and escape the back office to join an entirely new industry and career path, turning down numerous job offers post Goldman Sachs to take my shot at software sales.My first two quarters as a BDR at Origami Risk were spent very far outside my comfort zone and had me wondering if I had made the right decision, but I kept sharpening my iron, taking my lumps and and putting in the work to become an elite sales professional. Through my hard work and improvements, it eventually became very clear that my gamble was going to pay off big.After putting in a year at Origami and honing my business development abilities in the risk management space, I decided to bet on myself again and thrust myself into both the insurance and start-up world at Aureus Analytics to put myself on the front lines of the emergent AI phenomenon. Through my exposure to our DONNA platform and conversations with insurance professionals, I can tell that the Aureus team is on the ground floor of something tremendous.Described as having a winning combination of white and blue collar attitude, cerebral product knowledge and scrappy “just get it done” mentality, I attack every day on the phones as if the agencies I reach out to are depending on me to teach them about AI for their businesses to thrive.
My belief in AI and DONNA shows through on every conversation.Outside of work, you can find me at the boxing gym, trying to earn a place in the Illinois amateur boxing world while simultaneously developing the grit and willingness to bite down on the mouthpiece that is necessary to succeed in the sales world.
