Hanga Growth Program, a project implemented by the Rwanda ICT Chamber, in partnership with the Rwanda Innovation Fund (RIF) through the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), aims at supporting the high growth startups, strengthening Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs/Hubs), and strengthening angel investor networks for Rwanda’s ecosystem.• Identifying and compiling information about investors focusing on the Rwandan market, including venture capital funds, angel investors, corporate venture capital firms, and relevant accelerator programs.• Analyzing investor preferences and verticals of interest to match them with suitable startup opportunities.• Reviewing and evaluating startup pitch decks to assess their viability and potential for investment.• Proactively sourcing and identify startups that are actively seeking funding, utilizing online platforms, networking events, and industry connections.• Assisting in the preparation of materials for investor meetings, including pitch decks, executive summaries, and financial projections.• Collaborating with team members to evaluate startup metrics, financial performance, and funding needs to make informed recommendations to potential investors.• Participating in meetings with startups to understand their business models, growth strategies, and funding requirements.• Monitoring and tracking the progress of ongoing investment opportunities, providing updates and recommendations as needed.• Staying updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in startup financing and venture capital.• Conducting in-depth research on local startup ecosystems, including market trends, industry landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
