About Patrick Sins

Several themes have provoked my interest during my professional career. During my studies Cognitive Psychology at Maastricht University I was engaged in studying and teaching statistics, expertise development, multimedia and learning, computational approaches to learning and theories for educational design. Subsequently, I focused on studying the nature of students' reasoning during computer-based modeling during my Phd. I took an approach towards studying the impact of communication mode, achievement motivation and epistemology on the quality of students' reasoning.
