Methods enabled building a 3 year roadmap and also allowed for rapid reevaluation any time the matrix changed.Consultant to Laser Jet business on multi-year process and tool migration program from legacy systems to a PDMLink/SAP solution. Worked across organizations to identify where processes could be decoupled and negotiated business acceptance of a phased approach delivering the bulk of business benefit up front while limiting the number of changes each user group would see.Implemented CAD driven BOMs in PDMLink to improve data integrity and timelines while reducing BOM maintenance efforts. Evaluated business processes to establish rules and best practices for generating and maintaining BOMs, developed training materials, and trained engineers on new processes.Defined object mapping to use native PDMLink structures (substitutes, reference designators) to replace incompatible SAP-like data structures that had been shoehorned into PDMLink. Analyzed and compiled common supported units of measure in use on PDMLink and SAP to assure data consistency in migration and future flows.Retired custom ad hoc interface and implemented event driven BOM publishing from PDMLink to SAP. New interface is integrated with standard change management workflows and utilizes XSL transforms to allow rapid future changes while maintaining support for legacy SAP interface. -
