I am currently a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Maryland - College Park studying Criminology and Criminal Justice. In addition to my current major, I have extensive education on topics pertaining to biology and other natural sciences. I am currently employed on campus in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs as a student office assistant. In this role, I work alongside many of University of Maryland's administrative heads on projects and events important to student life outside of classes. Additionally, I serve the office as the first point of contact for calls and visitors, as well as carrying out day to day office tasks, including supply management, customer service, paperwork, including budget work, record keeping, and any other task assigned to me by the Directors, Assistant Vice Presidents, and the Vice President. I have other customer service experience in a position held at Dave & Buster's Restaurant and Arcade, where I was responsible for inventory management, stock organization, and being a primary resource for guests in the store. This position also included the handling of large sums of money each day from transactions carried out at my workspace. In addition to the experience referenced above, I have varying levels of experience working and volunteering in a number of fields, including childcare and early development as a summer camp counselor, and other clerical work for nonprofit organizations.
