Patrick is the Founder and Managing Partner of Perkins Leadership Advisory, a boutique firm focusing on leadership development for senior leaders, primarily within financial services and the alternative asset space. As an advisor and executive coach, Patrick works with leaders and organizations to operate at peak performance through identifying and preparing the right talent for key roles, scaling their leadership, effectively influencing others, and building and motivating teams.Prior to his current role, Patrick was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs for almost a decade. There he led global leadership advisory and partner development for Pine Street, the firm’s leadership development group for Partners and select Managing Directors. In addition, he led external client leadership development globally, with a focus on financial services clients. He personally advised and coached some of the firm’s most senior partners across his tenure.Before joining Goldman Sachs, Patrick was a Principal at ghSMART, a leadership advisory firm, where he advised Chief Executive Officers, boards and leadership teams on talent selection and development, M&A and organizational change. Earlier in his career, he was a senior consultant at Leadership Development Worldwide and a full-time faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College.Patrick currently serves on the voluntary faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College.Patrick earned a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College.
