Significant Contributions:
• Developed and managed high-level partnerships in China, Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines, Germany, Spain, Mexico, and Argentina.• Identified the Asia-Pacific as a key growth market for Minitab and spearheaded our business development, transforming the region from a minor contributor to a major part of our international revenue.• Created the Market Analysis Report that is Minitab’s standard for annual international market assessment for each major country in order to provide a comprehensive foundation for informed and effective strategic planning by country.• Originated and put into effect the international Marketing Activities Planner that is used as Minitab’s system to organize, budget, manage, and assess the marketing activities of our partners.• Key person involved in creating and managing Minitab’s Independent Local Representative Manual, the guidebook that serves to communicate our company’s mission & vision, fundamental objectives, guiding principles, performance requirements, and support programs to our partners.• Created, implemented, and reported on the feasibility study that led to Minitab releasing the first Simplified Chinese version of our flagship software in 2007.• In cooperation with our partners, planned, organized, and participated as the keynote speaker in 20+ successful product launch and user conferences throughout Asia to promote new product releases and demonstrate Minitab’s commitment to being a full-service solution provider dedicated to supporting our customers in those countries.• Initiated and led Minitab’s first international partner conference in 1999 to create a more effective, cohesive, and successful effort for our global business. (These are now regular occurrences.)• Developed and implemented successful anti-piracy campaigns in China that have led to significant revenue contributions.• Successfully negotiated large sales contracts with major global companies.
