Responsible for leading Continuous Improvement initiatives for 3 bottling plants and 4 distribution centers located in Chicago, IL and Holland, MI. Primary area of focus is in the Northlake, IL facility which is 1 million sq. ft., runs 9 production lines, and employs approximately 500 people.Have completed over 30 Lean Six Sigma projects focused on efficiency and yield improvements that resulted in over 2 million dollars in annual savings. Have formed and trained over 40 work teams in the Northlake Plant with goal to grow them to be self directed. Have instructed supervisors and team leaders in Lean Six Sigma techniques and led managers in leadership development studies.

Stayers Distribution, LLC is the Illinois distributor for two line of products. We were the sole distributor for Park Farm Wine out of Dubuque, IA. This is a small family owned winery that has been doubling in growth each year since 2005 and is producing some excellent and unique wines out of Iowa. www.parkfarmwinery.comThe 2nd line of products we distributed were from SplashGuardian and Anti-splash. These were revolutionary products which prevent splash back from urinal use. The product was used in many large venues as an advertising medium.

Initiated a new standard for identifying and assessing skill levels of machine operators for every team. Served as mentor for one Six Sigma Black Belt and two Green Belts. Responsible for project approval and champion training. Formed a cost savings focus group. Results included $250,000 in annual purchasing savings and plant WIP reduction of 35% in 3 months.

Led 1-2 Value Stream Mapping events per month and trained team leaders on VSM process. Led company wide 5S training program and implemented through 3 phases of measurables. Company average 5S score increased from 1.8/5.0 to 4.3/5.0 in 2 years. Partnered in company wide initiative to form Self Directed Work Teams. Led training on teambuilding, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Led SMED events and plant wide training in Setup Reduction Techniques. Most notable was reduction in average setup hours of the Hydromat Cell from 72 hours to 10 hours yielding $80,000 in annual savings. Established Kanbans for raw material and perishable tooling in production cells. Setup vendor managed system through electronic communication Completed four Six Sigma projects for total savings of $210,000 annually.
