Responsible for the configuration and implementation of the SAP Sales and Distribution business system with a focus on the automotive industry. Provide strategic guidance through analysis of client's business processes and those of the client's customers, using that information to recommend appropriate SAP configurations and solutions.Build a positive and effective working relationship with the implementation team, maximizing communication and collaboration.Support the business through a combination of on-site and remote engagement. Project have included operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.Identify gaps in the standard SAP offering and bridge those gaps with new or existing pmc custom solutions.Facilitate cross-functional cooperation through all stages of the implementation process to achieve the best possible integration of the ERP into the business. This includes Blueprinting, Development, Integration Testing, Cut-over, and Go Live. Then support the business through Hyper-care and post-Go Live transition.Manage or perform Master Data development and legacy data transfer activity (LSMW)Design necessary forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (FRICE) through collaboration with programmers and the business to test and integrate the solutions.Coordinate closely with EDI technical teams to ensure data is properly received and integrated into the ERP and subsequently issued from the ERP to the client’s customers. Maintain functional specifications, process flows, and work instructions during the project life cycle.Foster the development of junior consultants through guidance and exposure.Apply Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry based on previous OE and Tier 1 roles.Basic level ABAP debuggingECC, S4, and S4 HANA implementation experience
