Building, designing, and testing things has been a huge part of my life both professionally and personally. I strive to test my abilities, to learn new methods and technical skills every day and apply them to both my professional and personal projects. One of the projects I like to tell people that describes my interests and motivations for engineering is that my first vehicle had crank windows in it. On one very hot day I decided that I had had enough of crawling across the cab of my vehicle to roll down the window and over the next couple days figured out how to build, install, and operate power windows so I would never have to roll them down manually again.
