Patrick joined Cazenove Capital in 2020, having spent 5 years at Saunderson House as an Investment Analyst. He is an investment Manager and is a member of Cazenove’s investment team where he responsible for fund research across multiple regions. Patrick chairs both the Japanese and Asia & Emerging Market equity fund research groups, whilst also covering US and Global equities. Over Patrick’s career his fund research responsibilities have also included UK and European Equities, Property and Fixed Income. He sits on Cazenove Capital’s investment strategy group, helping to steer high level investment decision making. Patrick graduated from The University of Exeter with a degree in Mathematics with Economics. He holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA charterholder.

• Responsible for UK equity and global fixed income investment analysis, fund selection and asset allocation to these regions• Regularly meet UK equity and fixed income fund managers and produce buy/sell and updates notes for these funds• Write in-depth quarterly sector notes, monthly market outlook/review summaries, and fund performance commentaries for UK equities and fixed income

• Led a c£30m project portfolio month-end close process• Personally accountable for submitting month and year end accruals for 70 projects• Created a complex financial model that analyse each project’s forecast, payables and accruals, which I then used to form valuable management information. As a result, I am confident in using numerous Excel formulas and forming pivot tables to monitor a project’s performance• Assisted in tracking budgets and analysing costs and resources• Helped calibrate and monitor the blended day rate charged to both permanent and contractor resources• Built and rolled out a resource recharge model (c£700k of recharges to projects each month) to the whole of the IT and Change department• Helped support project coordination and monitoring project performance• Presented monthly project performance update reports to portfolio mangers, project managers and the senior vice president of Business Solutions
