Pleasure to meet you, I am Patrick! Uncle, brother, son, and if I may so a skilled Tax Professional. I fell into the Payroll & Payroll Tax industry at the ripe old age of 20. As a young man entering into this new world I realized... I enjoy this industry and want to continue to explore different aspects of it. Over the years I have had the opportunity to explore many different industries tax services teams. Retail, Cannabis, Healthcare, I have also been able to experience Service Bureaus of different sizes. On my journey I was introduced to MasterTax, the best tax filing software out there, I have since 2011 been using this software and have become somewhat of a subject matter expert with it. I also worked for MasterTax for a time. Currently I work and live out of Edgewood New Mexico. This small village is hidden in the mountains east of Albuquerque. Being a remote employee has afforded me the ability to spend time with my family, time I wouldn't trade for the world. What am I looking for? I am looking for my forever role, this role would be as either a tax individual contributor, a senior tax analyst/specialist, or a supervisor of a tax team. This role needs to allow for me to still be remote, although I am able to travel as needed. This company needs to be socially responsible, and understand that there is big world out there and does what it can do to make it better. As I have navigated the professional world I have learned the importance of being my authentic self and being a good social citizen. Being an active social citizen is a passion for me, when I can you will find me working with the local LGBTQIA organizations, volunteering at food banks or similar places. I have also been a mentor to at risk youth which is probably the most rewarding thing I have ever done. If you have read this far keep going!
