• Execute research assays and tests in accordance with 9 CFR for the license of drug products and various drug development projects• Problem identification and solution implementation with regard to the growth and testing of multiple virus antigens• Responsible for research testing in multiple labs including but not limited to tissue culture, virology and immunochemistry labs• Performs immunological assays for testing of vaccines• Responsible for the collection, tracking, and processing of specimen samples for projects• Communicate project needs to internal and external stakeholders • Virology techniques used weekly for testing include virus isolation, serum neutralization and fluorescent antibody microscopy• Analyzes laboratory statistical data as well as data for vaccine potency• Performs product research and development to develop, increase labeling, or improve overall product processes • Collaborates with other site departments for process development and improvement• Responsible for the review of research/site protocols to maintain compliance with USDA• Assist in writing, auditing and reviewing research project reports and protocols

• Performed Quality Control assays and tests in accordance with 9 CFR for the release of drug products and various in-process testing• Responsible for quality control testing in multiple labs including tissue culture, virology and immunochemistry labs• Performed immunological assays for testing of vaccines, specific ELISAs• Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of up to 10 different cell lines at a time; including cultured tissues used to identify and observe cytopathic effect of multiple antigens produced on- site• Virology techniques used weekly for testing included; virus isolation, serum neutralization and fluorescent antibody microscopy• Analyzed laboratory statistical data as well as data for drug potency• Performed assay development to increase efficiency, and improve overall assay processes• Assisted in the standardization process of quality control procedural protocols to maintain compliance with USDA
