Currently, I have more than 24 years experience in the financial services industry.I started my career at Old Mutual Unit Trust division and ended as asenior broker consultant with Old Mutual. I then joined Burger and Lloyd in 1998 as Director and Financial Advisor until I opened my own independent Insurance Brokerage - PFN FinancialServices (Pty) Ltd - in 2002.I since then opened the attooh! Pretoria East branch in 2014 - the no 1Discovery franchise group in South Africa.I believe that trust is the function that far exceeds near honesty andintegrity. I embrace trust in terms of five critical components: character,competence, intent, communication and results. I believe that we arecustodians of other people’s money. In my approach to managingclients’ investments and finances I adhere to the principles of care andresponsibility.On a personal note - I am married to Hanalie and we have threechildren: Joa, Zander and Lara. I enjoy golf and cycling and completedthe Cape Epic and other numerous cycling races. I also enjoy readingand are particularly fond of authors like Dr Wayne W Dyer and NealeDonald Walsh.In order for me to differentiate myself I truly strive to always have a deeptechnical knowledge in all areas of my business and on the productsthat we provide to our clients.
