Customer Support Engineer
Current- Lead a team responsible for maintaining and supporting the End of Line (EOL) test system for Isuzu Motors South Africa, ensuring efficient ECU programming and electrical validation of Isuzu D-MAX pickup trucks.- Provide on-site technical support for vehicle diagnostics and testing, addressing customer requests and supporting vehicle development projects for Isuzu's production line.- Maintain and troubleshoot the EOL test system, which validates the integrity of software and electrical systems.- Support and maintain advanced testing machines such as the non-contact wheel alignment (NCA) and dynamic vehicle testing (roller bed test bench) systems, ensuring their seamless operation on the production line.- Create and test vehicle programs for CAN bus systems (based on GMLAN & UDS) and MSL (Multi-Script Language) to enhance the performance and accuracy of the EOL system.- Provide Linux server support for the vehicle testing systems, including network configuration and administration to ensure reliable communication across the production line.- Maintain, repair, and program vehicle diagnostic electronic test equipment, ensuring smooth operation of production line tools and providing technical solutions for on-site issues.- Collaborate closely with Isuzu Motors South Africa, providing timely feedback on project timelines, technical issues, and system performance improvements.
