I'm also a big fan of the Effective Altruism movement and affiliated organizations - like CFAR (rationality.org), 80000hours.org and others. We all have blindspots that impede our growth, which by definition are outside our sight and our awareness, and one of the things I love to do - and have done for many years - is to help individuals and teams to find them, master them, and move beyond them towards goals that matter deeply. My approach is informed by Integral Coaching and Theory, Robert Kegan's work in constructive development, Neuroleadership, Terri Fallon's Stages model and Gestalt Therapy. Many years as a business owner and manager helps my work with leaders, entrepreneurs and creative professionals in adapting and working more skillfully in the current environment of relentless change and daunting complexity - which is much more about "how we know" than about "what we know". I also enjoy working with people who feel stuck, in life or work or simply in their own personal growth, to get unstuck and move on.Over 30 years as an entrepreneur, coach and consultant, with P&L, strategic, sales, creative, HR and operational responsibilties. Additional areas of strength include: Strategic planning, win/win negotiations, training/development, digital printing, color management, Mac software and troubleshooting. Other loves include: family, friends, hiking, travel, writing, film, engaged philanthropy (especially Effective Altruism and related organizations) and music (writing and performing).
