Since the 70’s skateboard technology has hardly changed and every surfer knows that there’s a huge difference between the way surfboards and skateboard ride! Surfboards glide across water and tap into the energy of a rolling wave as the rider leans on their rail to carve a sharp turn. Waterborne Skateboards has developed novel proprietary mechanisms, called Skateboard Surf Adapters, that bolt onto ANY SKATEBOARD to make them turn sharply and naturally just like a surfboard! Surfers love the Surf Adapter because they can practice their surfing maneuvers when the waves are flat, and skateboarders love the Surf Adapter because it makes their own skateboard perform in ways they never thought possible! One of our differentiators is price point. The closest surf-skate experience available on the market are $250, where the Surf Adapter only costs $60. We ran a successful crowd funding campaign and have since sold thousands of Surf Adapters to riders all over the world! Working with professional developers to create, market and monetize mobile applications.Current Project: Overlapp, proximity based app use to create cloud community of relevant information. Users dynamically decide what content they view and who they interact with. Overlapp pulls successful design elements from existing social medias and integrated them into a fantastically intuitive user interface. The Overlapp team currently stands strong and lean with Grant Duncan and myself gearing up for the launch in early June.
