Primary outside counsel for GE Capital Communication Services Corporation, coordinating numerous regulatory, transactional and litigation matters and providing day-to-day advice in connection with all aspects of the business.

General counsel for this telecommunications reseller (a wholly-owned subsidiary of GE Capital), reporting directly to CEO. Plenary responsibility for all the company’s legal and regulatory work, including coordinating work of numerous outside law and consulting firms. Led the negotiation of all commercial and real estate transactions, including customer agreements, agreements for the purchase of back office, billing, help desk, call center and other services, as well as leased employee deals. Led legal effort on two major acquisitions. Also handled various HR and related matters, formulated customer complaint policies and terms of service, and reviewed advertising.
