They combined the service and consistency of fine hotels with beautiful private homes in amazing destinations.As the company’s first-ever HR teammate, I crafted all its HR functions from the ground-up. As the leader of the overall HR department in a fast-paced, productive, dynamic, and collaborative environment, I developed, communicated, and executed everything as it relates to HR. Organizational Leadership: o Served as the trusted advisor to the CFO, then the CEO to advance short- and long-term business goals, as well as the company’s culture.o Partnered with VP of Operations to ensure people programs were tailored for a diverse team spread across seven states and 10 office locations.HR Functional Leadership: o Managed all HR systems, programs, budgets, and initiatives to support teammates and managers as an internal consultant.o Built an HR team to include trainers, recruiters, administrators, and interns.Employee Communications: o Developed meeting structures, websites, emails, and other methods to inform, align, and engage 85 teammates.Performance and Total Rewards Management: o Collaborated with team leaders to build performance management processes, rewards and recognition processes, and compensation/benefits programs.Training & Development: o Created mentorship programs, scheduled regular check-ins with individual teammates, scheduled lunch & learns, and generally ensured the team was engaged and ready to perform and its highest level.
