Responsible for managing the formation, growth and CG production of the Worldwide Visualization Group, an internal R&D group initially created to provide pre-rendered “visual targets” to game teams. • The WWVG grew to include software engineers, expanding the group’s focus to include tools for game teams, and real-time prototyping on X-Box and PS3 dev stations, in addition to ongoing graphics R&D in high-value areas. • WWVG’s main areas of inquiry included high fidelity asset creation, human scanning techniques, universal performance capture, procedural animation techniques, advanced skin shaders, interactive performance capture, and new intellectual property. • Roll-out of EA Canada’s universal capture service and WWVG’s pinnacle project, the Fight Night Round 3 real-time demo presented at Sony’s World Launch of the Playstation 3, also featured at the E3 conference in May 2005.

Produced approximately 50 shots for the Rivendell sequences working with the former 2D supervisor for LOTR at WETA Digital.
