It holds several of my fathers foreign investments, including the participation of Wölffer Vineyards in Sagaponack, NY. Ethiopia

I spent four weeks with internationally renowned photographer Leif Steiner, photographing isolated tribes and indigenous cultures in extremely remote locations. We traveled and camped through the Omo Valley documenting six different tribes. Spending several weeks interacting with them, becoming familiar with their lifestyle, history and photographing almost everything.• Bodi Tribe - I took portraits of the women. Photographed them preparing for battle, and documented the inside of their homes, family, and food.• Arbore Tribe - I interacted with the children, photographed the villages and inside their homes, as well as their live stock. I took portraits of the village elders, photographed a wedding, how they fish and their daily routines.• Hamar Tribe - I Photographed their daily activities, went with them to the markets, took their portraits and spent a lot of time inside their homes.• Dassnech Tribe - I took portraits of the children, their homes and photographed them fishing, cleaning the fish and the market. Also learned about their culture and went to a local modern village.• Nyangatom Tribe - I documented their efforts of accessing water, photographed an abandoned school and took their portraits and photos of the different villages.• Suri Tribe - I spent a lot of time learning their ways and culture. I photographed theirface paintings, their famous lip-rings, and documented a Donga Fight with sticks between several rival clans in the village hills.

Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

• + Photographic documentation of the Anti Poaching UnitsAssist in anti-poaching efforts and provide logistical back-up for the trained field officers. Fulfilling crucial parts of wildlife protection efforts & contribution to the conservation and protection of the species.Assist in the day to day activities of the field rangers.• The curriculum included: Principles of Conservation, Operational Security, Fire Arm Handling and safety procedures, Legal Principles – Fire Arms and Arrests, Map Reading, Navigation, Dangerous Animals, Survival Skills, Self Defense, Principles of observation, Tactical Operations, Tracking and Follow-up, Radio Procedures, Frist Aid, Crime Scene Preservation...• Assisting in various aspects of the fight against poaching. Take part in daily anti-poaching activities i.e. patrolling the farm on foot, horseback or quad bike; manning an observation post, manning checkpoints; tracking and observing rhino behavior; conducting camp duties or man one of our control rooms.

Tanzania

I spent two months traveling through Tanzania and Kenya in effort to document the countries beauty, culture and social issues happening within.• Photographed the local farmers working in agriculture in the outskirts of Arusha.• Traveled through the Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater photographing thelandscapes, wildlife and Massai living within.• Photographed a local coffee plantation on the outer hills of the Ngorongoro crater.• Documented a local fish-market in Dar es Saalam, took the fisherman and theirfamilies portraits and photographed the market and the sale of fish.• In Zanzibar I photographed local villages, businesses, schools and people. I alsodocumented the seaweed plantations, women working and the seascapes.• Joined a local female coffee plantation lead by only women in efforts to promoteand strengthen women empowerment.• Stayed over a week at a sisters convent in southern Tanzania where i photographedtheir daily lives and prayers.• Documented local farmers on the sugar plantations, and the process of extractingand the sale of the canes.• Photographed a catholic school run by a catholic nun from Germany, interviewedher and talked to her students.• Photographed albino students, took their portraits and documented their livingconditions and difficulties.• Spent time with local fisherman and photographed them at Lake Nyasa.• Photographed a local cement shipping company and crew transporting cement from Tanzania to Mozambique.• Visited an orphanage and a hospital taking care of children with disabilities. Photographed them and the school specifically made for them.
