As an A/P clerk, I am responsible for the processing of vendor invoices using IPS and MediaOcean / DDS. I work with buyers and vendors to get discrepant invoices reconciled and cleared for payment. In addition to daily tasks, I try to identify areas for continuous improvement and create the solutions identified (usually using Excel Visual Basic).

As an Accounts Payable Co-op, I was responsible for sorting through the department's mail, processing vendor invoices in SAP, and assisting and responding to vendors by email and phone. In addition to my principal responsibilities, I also assisted with filing documents electronically and physically, creating vendor maintenance forms, promoting an environment of teamwork and integrity. Some of the software that I had learned to use were Nuance PDF, Microsoft Outlook, shared drives, SAP, and JobRouter.

As a merchandiser for the world's leading beverage brand, it was my responsibility to represent the company professionally with everybody I came into contact with. This included customers, consumers, and coworkers. Often I worked alone, but worked with a partner occasionally. I had to analyze the areas of the stores that need to be filled and fill them accordingly. While doing this, I sometimes come into contact with the customer of my customer and help them find things. As a merchandiser, I didn't work for the stores. That being said, I had to work hard to keep my managers and the managers of the stores happy. Throughout this experience, I had worked to build relationships with the managers of the stores to help improve their customer experience with Coca-Cola.

As a grocery clerk at Meijer, my top responsibility was to ensure a positive customer experience. I achieved this goal through assisting customers when needed and by keeping aisles and displays neatly stocked. In addition to providing customer service in the grocery, dairy, frozen, and bottle return areas, I also had backroom responsibilities. I maintained a clean and organized ad area, assisted in receiving inventory by sorting incoming products, recorded inventory receipt errors, and also unloaded trucks using a powered forklift.

As a field umpire or plate umpire, I had to make judgment calls of plays that happened, know the rules, and keep the game running smoothly. I umpired a couple of games at the 14U level, but spent the majority of my time in 12U games.

In this role, I bagged groceries, loaded bags into customer cars, changed full bottle bins, changed garbage bags when needed, helped to maintain a clean sales floor, cleaned the bathrooms and break room, returned carts to the store from the parking lot, restocked returned items, and watered the flowers.

In this part time student position, I learned how to use Photoshop, created luncheon invitations, created a yearbook, and designed a t-shirt.
