I have through my professional career worked within the area of telecommunication, specifically fiber-optic systems. During these years I have encountered technologies such as DWDM, CWDM, PDH, SDH, OTN, Packet-optical, Mobile Fronthaul, Mobile Backhaul, SDN etc. My focus has been within Product Management where I for 18 years have been responsible for a product platform that consisted of more than 1500 sellable items. I have been engaged in the complete product life cycle, i.e. requirement gathering, requirement specification, release management, price management, support in creation of sales collateral, technical documentation and product termination. These activities have been performed in close interactions with the sales, services, development, production and finance organizations. It has also included customer meetings and seminar presentations. My presentations have been appreciated both externally as well as internally. The most recent years I have been part of the management team as head of Product Management, having both an operative Product Manager as well as an administrative manager. An example of the latter is that I got the Product Management organization and processes certified towards both ISO9000 and TL9000. It has been a tremendous experience to be part of building a company from scratch, initially seven persons that over the years and through mergers and acquisitions today has over thousand employees and sales all over the world.As a person I am open, thorough and quality driven. I am very customer focused, internally as well as externally.I have since I left Infinera established a consultant company and I am currently engaged at Smartoptics in Stockholm.
