Team work makes the dream work, and not all work is fun and exciting. And, it doesn't have to be. Infrastructure is boring, and absolutely necessary. I called people during dinner, but instead of signing them up for credit cards, I sold them the newspaper. I played DnD with a coworker between calls. Fun times. 10/10 would do again.

Worked the merch booth for local bands when they opened for bigger acts in the OKC area. Usually at The Diamond Ballroom. I also assisted in making sure all the entertainers were well taken care of while in OKC. Gorilla marketing, social media marketing(MySpace, y'all... MySpace. It was an era, for sure.), crowd hyping, email marketing, graphic design stuff sometimes... Just all around was as involved in the local metal/punk/electronic scene as much as I could be. I got in trouble because I told this lady her DVR isn't a time machine. I was good at the job when the customers didn't expect their satellite TV to defy the laws of physics. I quit to go work at The Oklahoman, instead. I couldn't with the customers... It's TV, it's really not as serious as people installing a TV in their bathroom think it is.

Hands down the dumbest thing I've ever done in an attempt to make money. Door to door vacuum sales with my friend Brittany. Just... Oh, the stories that could be told.

I was one of those annoying people that calls you during dinner. Thinking back on it, it doesn't even feel like it happened in this lifetime because those computers were from the past, even back then. I hate it, but it paid some bills.
