• Fuel Chem Unit – July 2008 to January 2010: Completed the first demonstration in India to come back to the U.S.A. as the resident engineer and acting project manager for most of the duration of the project for a TIFI Hybrid injection system installed on the world’s largest coal fired unit at 1,300 MW rated capacity located in Tennessee, generating revenues in the millions of dollars annually. I also assisted on other sites and testing at various client sites throughout the continental U.S.A.• Air Pollution Control Unit – January 2010 to January 2013: I spent a year in the Milan, Italy office to assist in an SCR project in Barcelona, Spain. Based at Headquarters, I have been responsible for the management and engineering of projects valued at 4.3 million USD. I also formed part of the project team for the first Air Pollution Control project in Mexico as the first commercial application of an R&D project.• Combustion Unit – January 2013 to present: Assisting sales on budgeting for fuel control valve stations for natural gas burners.

After the closeout of the La Paz project, I was approached by the US company which was represented by Combustión Tecnificada for a similar project to be located in Mumbai, India. The project was on a 450 MW Indonesian coal fired boiler with slag issues. This was the first application in India. My responsibility was to receive, supervise construction, start up, optimize, operate and maintain a TIFI Plus injection system to control slag formation.

I was responsible of supervising construction, start up, operation and maintenance of a Fuel Tech Hybrid TIFI Plus injection system aimed to reduce SO3, on 3 units in the Punta Prieta thermoelectrical power plant of CFE at the project named “Sistema de Control de Emisiones a la Atmósfera” – Atmospheric Emissions Control System which obtained the “Premio al Desarrollo Tecnológico e Innovación” – Award for Technological Development and Innovation from CFE. In addition, I attended meetings of all levels, served as technical Spanish/English translator, created reports, helped with event logistics for photo-ops, official visits, government visits, equipment imports, etc., maintain an inventory of equipment, spare parts and chemicals, be responsible to unload and dispatch the isotainers.
