We fulfil our mission by running an organisation that achieves social impact through outcomes-based programs whilst generating revenue through profitable enterprises.Currently the organisation exists with a small range of initiatives, allowing youth participants to progress through BikeRescue, an engagement and mentor program, then onto structured and paid work experience opportunities through our social enterprises BikeDr. and ReNew Property Maintenance.Being a leader alongside my colleagues at this amazing organisation is a dream job.

Bike Rescue Project is a ten week earn-a-bike program designed to engage disengaged and at-risk youth. Each program sees a cohort of young people learn everything they need to know to fully recycle and restore two bicycles each, one to donate to charity, one they've 'earned' for themselves.On the surface it's all about bike mechanics, but underneath it's really about building strong mentor relationships to inspire and affect lasting positive change.Participants are the drivers of their own learning and development. The hands-on activities are relevant, fun, motivating and worthwhile, something not always experienced by disadvantaged youth. Also, in a world where we don't always hear positive messages involving young people, Bike Rescue Project provides opportunities for participants to be valued and respected for their contribution to the local and wider community.The coordinator role requires a person to pull together sets of skills in Partnership Management, Program Design and Delivery, Team Leadership, Project and Budget Management, Evaluation and a whole lot more to lead Dismantle's flagship youth engagement program.
