Over a span of 5 years, our team expanded from a modest trio of developers to a team of 7 professionals. The primary application for the project was developed using VB.NET, WinForms, and .NET Framework 4.7.2. The ancillary components (DLLs, services, etc.) were predominantly implemented in C#, .NET Framework 4.7.2, .NET Standard 2.0, and .NET Core. MS Visual Studio served as our primary IDE. The project was quite complex, featuring diverse integrations with services such as REST, SOAP, and WCF, often utilizing XML as a data exchange format, occasionally using JSON. IIS was employed for hosting the services. Each application was built upon MS SQL Server, ranging from 2008 R2 to 2019.
